BEING AN ARTIST FOR ME IS LIKE BEING IN LOVE.
Everything I see inspires me—it’s my own form of meditation. I don’t always find the peace to sit still and listen mindfully to myself. Sometimes, I’ll catch a glimpse of a beautiful wall on a house, and I’ll jump up, run to the studio, and pour all my thoughts onto a big canvas.
I'm inspired by things that many people don't even see. I live in Mallorca, Spain. All the houses here have such a beautiful rustic texture, i'm inspired by the stains that happen when the plaster falls off. I love the colors and shapes, the cracks in the walls. My biggest inspiration. My meditation.
I see, I feel, I think, and then I paint intuitively.
